I was a plumber technician who repaired two Kohler toilets by installing fill valves and repairing the flush valves with new seals.
I recently replaced a 50-gallon natural gas atmospheric vent water heater. The old unit was leaking, and it was causing a significant amount of water damage to the surrounding area. Call was for a leak coming from a toilet tank in the main-level power room. Homeowner was unable to completely shut off the water to toilet. Toilet was an older toilet and opted for a replacement. We replaced the toilet with a new Gerber comfort height/chair height toilet and supplied a new wood seat. Also replaced the fixture valve at the toilet. Flange was in good shape.
